Why I Built This

I created UG Pulse to solve a problem I faced as a university student: accessing and making sense of my academic data was often a cumbersome process. The official university systems were not always intuitive, and I wanted a way to visualize my academic journey in a more engaging and understandable format.

This project was driven by a desire to empower students with better tools to manage their own academic information. By integrating with the BAAK API, I could pull real-time data and present it through an interactive timeline and user-friendly interface. It was a practical application of my skills to build something that could genuinely help my peers stay on top of their studies and plan for the future.

The recent update to UG Pulse reflects my commitment to continuously improving the tool based on user feedback. It's a project that combines data visualization with a user-centric design to transform how students interact with their academic information, making it less about administrative hurdles and more about personal progress.
